Description
An original 1st press of Peter Green's FM on Blue Horizon from 1968. Matrix A1/B1. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Ernest J Day cover.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In great condition and has only seen light use. There are a few marks either side. One of the marks is long and straight which draws your eye to it. Under close inspection it is a top-level surface scuff thankfully - this is just to give the buyer full clarity in case you're the sort of person who might freak out at that! A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Wow - mono delivers again this is a great rendition. Interference is both minimal and relatively infrequent. All we could detect was a couple of crackles in the odd isolated moment. The audio delivered is clean and absolutely nails this recording. Nice and quiet behind the instrumentation allowing the feel of the music to really flow. Definitely a keeper.
Cover (Ex-) Has clearly been cared for down the years. Lovely shiny front only exhibiting a couple of creases down in the bottom right corner. The rear is unlaminated and so often takes a bit of a beating. But hear it is in well above average condition just some light handling. Edge wear is mostly light except for a small patch on the spine [so not all the text is legible]. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and remains an impressive example.
