A unique opportunity to purchase a near-perfect example of this rare 7” vinyl EP on the Deleted label.
This is part of a limited edition hand-stamped with number 147
The Instant Automatons were a North Lincolnshire band which rose from the UK DIY movement in the early 1980’s.
This item is a wonderful example of fanzine style packaging, with a black and white folding poster cover and hand glued labels.
The edition number is printed on both the cover and the white inner sleeve. It also includes a self adhesive sticker (still on the backing) with the E.P’s title upon with everything contained in the original pvc slipcase in which it was sold. (The single was originally bought on first release in the long-closed Harum Records in High Barnet). It was played once in part.
I am not a record dealer so am reluctant to give any of my current lots an official condition rating. This single however is in remarkable condition for its age. The cover is near mint, with a slight impression of the record at the top. The inner sleeve slows signs of aging but this is more to do with the type of paper used. The record itself is perfect. When I remove it from the sleeve to take the photo it had a few dust particles, but I have not tried to brush it away in case I damage the surface. Both photos are the actual item.
The single will be mailed by recorded delivery or better within the UK in professional packaging with the record separate from the picture sleeve.
