Description
Various Artists / Ska Au-Go-Go - Studio One/Rnd Records SO-111 (Jamaica)(1967) ...This auction is for an original Import Issue Record on Jamaican vinyl.
Not just the ska promised in the title, but some great rocksteady tracks too (all recorded during the early years of Studio One) with a raw quality that's very enjoyable! The music here is a far cry from the later ska that was often a bit too forced – and in these formative years, there's often a nice blurring of boundaries that comes from a lot of sharing of musicians – so that there's a really unified feel to the whole collection overall!
Track listings and review below...The Record and Cover (in shrinkwrap) are in great (Very Good++) condition (album cover is very clean/record vinyl shows some wear but looks and plays very well).
