Description
Peter Touch(Wailers) 'I am The Toughest' Island 1965 produced by Coxson Dodd
Flip side is Marcia Griffiths 'No Faith' , which I presume is the same singer who had the hit with 'Young Gifted and Black' a few years later
Rare rocksteady from Peter Touch while the flip is more a ballad. Both sides have writing on the label and comes in a plain white sleeve.
Vinyl visually both sides is good. There are no deep scratches but has loads of hairlines. Bit of a noise on the run in and slightest of background under the beat for the first 5 seconds or so. After that it plays with very very intermittent background under the bass line. We are definitely not talking 'bacon fat' though. Both sides played on an expensive mid range deck with a heavy stylus. No warp, jumps, sticks etc. Both sides play about the same.
Rare in any condition. Sold as seen
