VIBES FROM THE TRIBE by Phil Ranelin
This is the free flowing sound of Detroit in 1976. I have 2 copies of this rare and unusual LP, which have been shelved since the 1990's and were not ever played by the owner, as he "didn't like the wierd music" He claimed they were given to him along with an odd lot of music he had never heard of. He was right, as many of these LPs' are new to me, but there's some good stuff coming up for sale here on E-Bay
It's soul, it's jazz, I can't describe it too well myself. The 2012 Rockin' Records Guide values this disk at between $800 and $900, probably the most valuable item I have ever offered for sale here.
Price is not set in stone, but my bottom line is $500, so bid accordingly.

as checked Grading on vinyl is per Jerry Osborne's "Rockin' Record's" guidelines: SS means still sealed! (unplayed!) yeas Near Mint items are pretty flawless - no noise or defects. Very Good items have minimal noise, light scratches. A "Good" item is not really - will have surface noise. Poor - filler until a better copy comes around
