Description

Premium: As an experiment I will be featuring a few of my listings as "Premium". These high ticket items will have a low reserve based around 50% (or less) of their expected value. The postage price will also be higher as these items will be tracked and fully insured. I will provide more detailed condition descriptions as well as further photos highlighting any issues or important details.

Sung by Phil Spector –demo version of Lucy in London TV Special -Gold Star one sided Acetate (US 1966)

Condition: Acetate looks EX, but plays between VG+ and EX. I have only played it once and have not attempted to clean the disc in any way. The Audio disc sleeve has a rip.

Once in a lifetime opportunity to own this acetate of the demo version of the Lucille Ball in London special. More information and HEAR a Sound Clip here: http://purepop1uk.blogspot.co.uk/2015/02/unreleased-phil-spector-acetate-lucy-in.html
This copy was sold at a Bonham's auction in Tokyo for 250,000 yen back in 97. http://www.rarebeatles.com/bonham2.htm  (It is lot 295 – I still have the auction display card)
Low reserve!!!

Please look at my other items as I have listed many singles under several categories

Grading. I don’t use the term Mint. I don’t believe that records manufactured over 30 years ago, even if unplayed, can be called mint.

Grading: Record/Cover

EX: Means either “near mint” to some light  marks with hardly any noticeable noise. Sleeve has no or only minor wear.

VG: Means means some light background noise and more pronounced marks which do not affect the listening experience in a major way. Sleeve may be creased, minor discolouring, the odd fraying, some ringwear, seam split and perhaps some  writing.

G: Means noticeable clicks or pop, may have scratches, but doesn’t skip or jump. Sleeve may be ripped, tape repair, large writing, sticker removal damage etc...

Fair: Not a pleasant listening experience, the disc is damaged, just a stop gap before upgrading. Sleeve is badly damaged, not one to frame on the wall...

Poor: I don’t sell records in poor condition

Postage: I offer reduced postage if more than 1 record is purchased: There was a significant increase in Royal Mail charges back  in April, I have had to adapt postage prices accordingly.

All records sent out in professional mailers with 2 stiffeners. Records removed from sleeve if housed in picture sleeve.

Insurance strongly recommended for high priced items and compulsory for packages of a value of over £80. Insurance added at cost. I retain proof of postage for all items.

Payment: UK= PayPal or cheque (item sent when cheque has cleared). Overseas =PayPal only

Thanks!
