Description
This is an 18 track LP release entitled "Phil Spector Wall Of Sound Vol.3 The Crystals Sing Their Greatest Hits" on the Phil Spector International label (SUPER 2307 006) from 1975. It is a mono recording.
The Crystals were arguably one of the Top 6 US 60s Girl Groups - the others being The Ronettes, Ther Supremes, The Shirelles, The Chiffons & The Shangri-Las. The Crystals were, of course, part of Phil Spector's Wall Of Sound and had many hits, most of which appear on this album.
They had three LP releases (on Philles in 1962 & 1963), This 1975 mono LP collects 18 tracks from across those 3 albums. There is. however, an exception - "Then He Kissed Me" was never released as an album track on any Crystals Philles LP.
