Philips A 00150-3 L Mengelberg Bach Matthäus Passion. First minigroove edition on 4 lp's. Original box, with early philips sleeves and original booklet.
Soloists: Karl Erb, Willem Ravelli, Jo Vincent, Ilona Durigo, Louis van Tulder, Herman Schey, Louis Zimmermann, G. Blanchard, W Peddemors, Hubert Barwahser, Piet van Egmont, J. den Hertog. Concertgebouw Orchestra, Toonkunst choir, boys choir.
historical recording from 1939, first issued by philips on this set in the early 50's.
Box VG: wear on side of lid (photo). Booklet Ex, records VG: several small marks and short scratches giving ticks. No needle jumps on my set. Apart from these marks the records are still shiny, and have a good sound.
