Okay, here we go: You are bidding on an extremely rare copy of Phish's seminal album, Farmhouse. It is widely recognized as the absolute culmination of the vision which began on Billy Breathes, forming the third and final installment in the Billy-Ghost-Farmhouse arc of studio wizardry.
Now, onto the technical stuff. The record is as flawless as can be. I played it very few times, and to be honest I really don't even remember it being that much. No scratches, no scuffs, no BS of any kind. This is the real deal. Plays perfectly, as I recall. (I haven't tested it since deciding to sell it). The cover, sleeve and paper inserts are all NM/M. It has been safely stored in a climate controlled area for many years, and now it could be yours.
Some have argued that this was the last truly great album of Phish's peak period. If you're reading this you probably know what songs are on it, but just in case, think about this: Twist, Heavy Things, First Tube, Sand, Back on the Train, Sleep, Piper and the title track all on one album? Get outta here! Nope, it's true. Plus you also get several other classics like Dirt, Josie Wales, and more. This is truly Phish's American Beauty (Grateful Dead).
I will level with you: There is no reissue of this project scheduled for the immediate future (Ghost just came out) so this will be your only chance at having this on vinyl for the foreseeable future. And even when the reissue DOES eventually surface do you think the master tapes are going to be in better or worse condition compared to the source used on this release? This is VINTAGE turn of the century vinyl we're talking about here, folks. Fresh from the band's tapes to your turntable!
