Description

This is PiL's acclaimed Metal Box album. It's my original copy from 1979 and I remember playing it to death back then!
The tin is as you'd expect it to be. I'd say Very Good+. I polished it very finely with a soft pad and removed a lot of the tarnishing on the front but the back is still rusted since I didn't want to remove the Metal 1 sticker. The sticker is intact as seen in photos. There is a small dent at 12 o clock on the photo of the back of the tin.
The records are altogether Excellent. There is a small mark covering the intro to Pop Tones which causes some distortion but to be honest if you're blasting the album like I do you won't notice it. Chant plays with some distortion too but as mentioned it's not really noticeable. The bass on this record is insane! I checked for skips while playing but found none.
The insert is Excellent just has light handling marks. All the original dividers are there too.
Please see my other LPs and I can half postage cost for an extra album. Postage quoted is the exact cost to send and nothing more, your purchase will always be sent securely packed with stiffeners and in plastic sleeves. Any and all questions are welcome.
