Description

This very rare album is probably Quo,s very first album. The write up on the rear of the cover starts" In febuary this year, an unheralded record by an unknown group, climbed suddenly from what seems like nowhere, into the british top ten and subsequently into the charts in almost every country in the world. That record was "Pictures of matchstick men" and the group-The Status Quo.

Recorded on the PYE LabeL NPL18220 1968.

Overall condition of the vinyl is pretty good. No major scratches and plays ok without sticking or jumping. 8 out of 10

Condition of the cover is about 5 out of 10. No rips but creased in places and the rear can only be described as a bit grubby. Inner sleeve is plain white. This album is all original.

Side 1: Black veils of melancholy: When my mind is not live: Ice in the sun: Elizabeth dreams:Gentleman Joes sidewalk cafe: Paradise flat.

Side 2: Technicolor dreams: Spicks and specks: Sheila: Sunny cellophane skies: Green tambourine: Pictures of matchstick men.
