These boys have been singing together since they were small children, spreading the gospel in song. The songs "The Redemptions" have chosen to record on this album are some of the songs that give their hearts a warm blessing. They pray that just one of these songs will touch your heart as it has touched theirs. It would not be fair to each of "The Redemptions" to introduce them as a lead, alto, or a tenor. As you will hear when you play your album, each boy does a wonderful job at each. "The Redemptions" consist of Noble Howell, who is married to Carolyn Kersey, they have three daughters. James Carl Howell, a brother to Noble, is married to Eulivine Courtney, they have no children. Whetsei Crit Justice, double-first-cousin to Noble and Carl, is married to Cleatta Blackburn. They have one son and one daughter. Jimmy Howell, a brother to Noble and Carl does a won- derful job playing drums for "The Redemptions" and playing bass guitar is Bill Irick. He is married to Collene Robinette, they have one daughter. We are proud to say that each of "The Redemptions" are very fine Christians. Brother Crit is a Deacon in his church, he is also assistant superintendent and Sunday School teacher. Brother Noble is also a Sunday School teacher. Brother Carl works very closely with the young people in his church.
