Description
This extremely clean, original and genuine copy of the Fairies' very collectible first album is in superb condition throughout. The disc has A//1 and B//1 matrix numbers and the cover was printed by Robert Stace. It dates from 1971 has been owned exclusively by me since I bought it.
The disc is in Excellent condition. There is some background noise in the quietest sections or between tracks and minor hairline marks from where the album has been removed from the inner dust cover, but there are no scratches and minimal spindle wear.
The outer sleeve is also in Excellent condition. The card is still bright and stiff without creases, pressure rings or corner mashing, and the spine is strong and sharp. I have only marked it down from Near Mint by a small area of de-lamination along the top edge of the back (see pic 3).
The original plain paper inner dust cover is in almost pristine condition considering its age, without tears or major creasing. There is some age-related yellowing and minor glue discolouration.
AUCTION IS UK ONLY. From a smoke and pet free home. If payment is received before 1pm, it will be despatched same day (weekdays only). Album will be in an anti-static bag removed from the cover, sandwiched between the outer sleeve and inner dust cover, two card packers and shipped in a MusicMax Ultimate Strong Mailer.
The following matrices are stamped into the dead wax/runout areas:
SIDE ONE: 2383045 A//1 13 3
SIDE TWO: 2383045 B//1 11 24
Track list SIDE ONE: Do It Heavenly Man Say You Love Me Wargirl Never-Neverland
Track list SIDE TWO: Track One Side Two Thor Teenage Rebel Uncle Harry's Last Freak-Out The Dream Is Just Beginning
