The Piper at the Gates of Dawn is the debut studio album by the English rock band Pink Floyd, and the only one made under founder member Syd Barrett's leadership. The album featured a kaleidoscopic cover photo taken by Vic Singh, was recorded from February to May 1967. It was produced by Beatles engineer Norman Smith and released in 1967 by EMI Columbia in the United Kingdom and Tower Records in the United States.
Since its release, the album has been hailed as one of the best psychedelic rock album of all time. In 2012, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn was voted 347th on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time".
This is an amazing piece of music history & A True Must Have For Any "Pink" Fan (in any condition =)

Vinyl - Good/Good + - This Vinyl is showing its vintage age; visual wear & play noted ... There are no deep - feelable scratches - vinyl plays through completely without skipping/repeating - It has visible paper scuffs -hairline marks & general play & handling (which is noticeable thru all tracks/both sides) - Age shadowing/greying is noted - Gloss & shine is limited - PLAY GRADED - Varying degrees of background: crackle & pops etc. throughout tracks...

Cover - Good/Good+ - Cover shows its vintage age; fading & discoloration on both sides (esp. noticeable on back cover) - Brown/transparent tape has been used to repair all sides - left corner has small piece of colored/textured cardboard type material which has been taped to the corner (pls. see pic) - Number "6" printed on back/right/bottom corner with **MISPRINT: Take Up Thy Stethoscope..." - Printed: "Take Up MY Stethoscope" ** (corrected on later releases)

NM - Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new. EX+- close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect play. EX- A used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear. VG+- There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few scuffs - could include light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, still plays great. VG- significant wear and marks - would be noticeable - may have surface noise -still plays very well with no disruption. Good- Would only sell if the Record/Cover were Rare ~ Highly Desirable and/or Limited/Special Edition vinyl/jacket cover
