Description
After selling most of my LP collection, I am now selling a few that I have left which are mostly Beatles related, although not this one!
All my LPs will have been played at least once and some of them several times. They have however been properly looked after and stored over the years. Each LP has been played in full again prior to listing so my assessment is of the whole record, not just a few samples. M y assessments of the quality of the vinyl, sound reproduction and sleeve are based on the widely accepted Record Collector definitions.
This copy of Pink Floyd's 1969 stereo LP of the soundtrack to the film "More" is a UK pressing on the Columbia label - catalogue number SCX 6346, matrix numbers YAX 3868-1G, YAX 3869-1G. This is a first pressing with the green tinted rear sleeve as opposed to the black tinted one of later releases. The album plays well with no skips or jumps, but there are several clicks and pops as well as some crackle which is particularly audible on the quieter tracks on the album. The vinyl has some surface marks including some light scratches, but I would say nothing out of the ordinary for an LP of this age. The sleeve is in very good condition with just a little scuffing, some minor creasing on the front and a slight lifting of the bottom flap on the rear. The lettering on the spine is clear. It comes with its original inner sleeve advertising other EMI records. This is just starting to split at the bottom so to protect it from further damage in transit I will put the LP in a new inner sleeve.
