Description
You are bidding on a very rare Pink Floyd Dark Side Of the Moon 45 RPM (7") 4 track U.S. Mono Extended Play (EP) Record from 1973 (Harvest PRO-6746/6747)
It's the ONLY vinyl pressed Record with these edited MONO mixes intended for airplay on United States AM Radio Stations!
Vinyl is in Nm-Mint condition (8 out of 10 in my opinion) with the Sleeve displaying a couple rips as you can see due to assumed shuffling in and out of boxes over the Years. Also included is a Juke Box Label.
This Record was found in a large storage box along with other 45's, most from the 1970's and a few from 1980's, I discovered in a closet at a Radio Station I worked for. I found so many that only ones that looked clean and were of interest past the first test, then were personally cleaned AND played for quality control in the Production Room making sure of sound quality with limited 'crackles and pops' to be worthy of keeping. After several hundred Records I kept the cream of the crop. This rare beauty being one of them which I have played 2 times on each side on my Juke Box and honestly believe it was never played prior as the Radio Station that received it from the Record Company was 50's-60's Format and would never play a Rock Song by Pink Floyd! I actually had so many Records that I decided to buy a Juke Box which I have provided a picture of the 100 Records by Label currently in my Juke Box with another 150 Records or so I plan on listing many on eBay as time allows. If you see a record of interest LMK! Several of the 45's I will be selling were direct from Record Companies that were hoping for airplay and they labeled "Complimentary-Not for Sale" with a few having the same song on BOTH sides and more rare the song as released for air play on one side and just the intrumental version with no lyrics on the other side. Kind of interesting, right?! Pardon the exausting details but wanted to create the verbage and then just copy and paste moving forward.
