Description

On offer here is a copy of A Momentary Lapse Of Reason by Pink Floyd, released on the EMI label in 1987, catalogue number EMD 1003.

This is an early copy, with a Wide Spine, matt finish cover and an A1U matrix number.

The matt finish gatefold sleeve, with an uncredited manufacturer, is in Excellent Plus condition, with only a tiny amount of rubbing on the rear bottom opening tip preventing a higher grading, truly remarkable for an album so prone to wear. There is no ring wear, rips splits or writing. The inside of the gatefold is as made.

The lyric inner, with the thumbnail indent,  is also as new.

The vinyl retains a glossy shine to both sides, with a few tiny lines caused from where the album has been removed from it's card inner.

I have played this album at high volume on my system (Michell Gyrodek, SME Series IV and Dynavector coil cartridge with a Naim Pre Amp with twin Mono Power amps, through B&W 802 floorstanding speakers) and the sound was awesome. Some light static on run in and the very occasional light pop but overall the sound was at least Excellent.

The matrix numbers are EMD 1003 A - 1 -1 - 1 (stamped and scratched in the dead wax area) with "DMM " and "PRECISION" scratched on Side One.

Side Two is EMD 1003 B - 4C -1 - 1

The labels are as made.

The record will be sent outside of it's sleeve in a polythene cover in a professional heavy duty record mailing envelope made by Covers 33. it will be sent within 3 days of receiving payment, by Paypal only please, and this is only open to UK bidders, thanks.

Generous postage discounts will be given for multiple purchases, please see my other similar listings.
