Description
From my private collection: Pink Floyd - A Momentary Lapse of Reason (1987 UK Limited Edition LP EMI ?EMDS 1003) plus concert programme, ticket stub and press cuttings.
1987 UK limited tour souvenir edition LP. Including gatefold outer sleeve, lyric inner sleeve, concert ticket guarantee, fold out double-sided full colour poster and wraparound Pink Floyd Live picture.
EMDS 1003 is only on the sticker; the cover and labels bear the standard EMD 1003 catalogue number. Note that the cover is not the matt finish of the initial release.
Visual Goldmine grading: Record NM (never played), outer sleeve VG+ (carefully looked after for 28 years and stored with wraparound inside the sleeve and sticker from original cellophane on the sleeve - shows very minor shelf wear and a little spine fading – otherwise NM), inner sleeve NM, poster NM, wraparound picture NM. Note that I will only grade as Mint if an item remains sealed.
The record has been stored in a "Nagaoka anti-static record sleeve No. 102" since I purchased the item from new in early-1988 from HMV, London.
In addition, this bespoke bundle also contains a Pink Floyd World Tour 1987/88 programme (1988 UK 28-page tour programme), ticket stub and press cuttings.
Ticket stub/programme from the 6 August 1988 Wembley Stadium, London concert. The programme cover shows very minor shelf wear and the inner pages are like new (see photos). 25 x 34 cm programme including photographs, stage design plans, individual band and backing band profiles and equipment information, with a fold-out beds on the beach outer cover.
Press cuttings; original concert advertisement (Evening Standard, 29/01/1988) and brief “Beds will fly” article including picture of inflatable bed in front of the Houses of Parliament (can’t remember for certain, but it looks like it is from Sounds).
Will be posted in sealed plastic bags within a Music Max record mailer for the LP, taped to an A3 Post Max mailer for the programme.
Terms of listing: UK bidders only.
