Pink Floyd. A Momentary Lapse of Reason. Includes lyrics sleeve. EMD 1003. 1987.
Autographs feature: Dave Gilmore, Nick Mason and Richard (Rick) Wright.
A Letter of Authentication (LOA) from Britain’s leading celebrity autograph authority is included. Purposely obscured in the pictures to prevent copying.
Autographs were obtained at the Barbican Centre on 10th May 2007. A hand-written letter from the obtainer of the autographs is included. Again, purposely obscured in the pictures to prevent copying.
This was a tribute event to the late Syd Barrett who died July 7th 2006 (aged 60). It was called Madcap’s Last Laugh.
Pink Floyd (the 3 remaining members) played 'Bike' and 'Arnold Layne'. Roger Waters also played at the event – although separate to Pink Floyd. He played ‘Flickering Flame’.
In 2020 a record store day (RSD) 7” vinyl 45 rpm of this performance was released. Sealed copy included.
This was Pink Floyd’s final live performance.
This was the penultimate live performance by Rick Wright as he sadly died a year later in 2008.
A Momentary Lapse of Reason was released in 1987. Pink Floyd’s 13th studio album and the first without Roger Waters who left the band in 1985.
In 1987/88, Pink Floyd embarked upon a Momentary Lapse of Reason world tour. A copy of the programme and gig ticket is included.
On 22nd July 2006, NME produced a special Syd Barrett tribute issue magazine. Copy included.
All of the bundle in VG/Mint condition. Record is G+. Cover is VG.
