Description

Pink Floyd A NICE PAIR Double LP 1973 SHSP 4031 Phang Cover but cleverly obscured by price sticker because of the complaint from Mr Phang
I have graded the album Near Mint  I have graded the gatefold sleeve Excellent

  • Matrix / Runout (Runout side A, stamped): YAX 3419 - 1
  • Matrix / Runout (Runout side B, stamped): YAX 3420 - 1
  • Matrix / Runout (Runout side C, stamped): YAX 3633 - 1
  • Matrix / Runout (Runout side D, stamped): YAX 3634 - 2

Initial copies had a picture of a Mr. W.R. Phang's dental surgery on the cover (a genuine business photographed in Hammersmith, London), but Dr. Phang objected because NHS dentists were not permitted to advertise and the picture was replaced with one of a gargling monk - or as in this case, a sticker 'Special Double Album', which obscures Phang's name.
A buyer may want to steam off the sticker, I didn't do that because I thought it was a 'thing' in itself, that the distributor managed the controversy in this way.  I leave it to you.
