Description
Pink Floyd, A Saucerful Of Secrets, Orig UK Columbia SCX LP, VG+/VG+, 1st Press!
Description
Original UK blue & black Columbia label stereo press LP, with the KT Tax Code Stamp & 'The Gramophone Co..' text on the label & 'File Under Popular' text on the sleeve and 1-G stampers! The Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated flipback sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some light storage wear on the rear cover & some laminate creasing on the front cover, with a small area of damage on one of the flipbacks. The spine is still intact & fully readable, the EMI company inner is intact & in VG+ condition. The record is in visually VG+ condition, with a few faint & wispy sleeve removal hairlines & one or two small needle scuffs visible under bright light. The labels are in VG+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of spindle markings. Overall the record still retains all its original sheen and looks great!! The sound reproduction is VG+, still clear & precise throughout with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves, overall still a really great listen!! The matrix nos. are; YAX-3633-1 mother stamper 1-G, YAX-3634-1 mother stamper 1-R. This is one of the first few hundred copies of the very earliest 1st pressings of the original 1968 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!! All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, but everyones ears and decks are different, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund on return of the record, no problems!! All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!
