COMMENTS ON THE ALBUM
Here we have an absolute MONSTER of an album, this is the ULTRA RARE original UK MONO FIRST PRESSING of PINK FLOYDS MASTERFUL 2nd LP A SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS. What a truly amazing album this is and is now virtually impossible to find these days, especially in this condition!
This album is in truly AMAZING condition and I shall try my best to describe the condition of the album in detail below.
THE FRONT:
The front of the cover is in great shape apart from a small tear to the front which has been well disguised and is hardly noticeable, apart from this and a few laminate creaes near the opening edge, the front looks lovely.
THE BACK:
The back cover is of the the flipback variety and is very clean bar 1 very tiny name approximately 2mm by 25 mm. Apart from this the back looks great with minor wear only.
THE EDGES:
Edges are very nice with minimal wear only
THE SPINE:
Again super clean with minimal wear onlyperfectly clear with every letter legible.
The record itself looks very clean, bright light reveals a little minor scuff but nothing to impair the overall sound quality. Below is a brief description of the vinyl.
SIDE 1:
A few very feint hairlines visible under bright light, nothing to cause any problems. Its basically really only the paperscuff variety which cause no problems. The only real mark is a small patch of light marks near the very start of the LP, this only causes very light ticks for the 1st couple of minutes - nothing very bad at all and after this the LP plays superbly.
SIDE 2:
As Side 1 but without the marks at the start. Plays superbly!
THE LABELS:
The labels are in lovely condition with NO unwanted writing or pen marks. NO tears or scuffs or discolouring. Very close scrutiny reveals the lightest of spindlewear that shows the album has not been played much in the past. Wording is sharp and distinct on both labels.
MATRIX NUMBERS

FINAL SUMMARY
Overall, this is a superb album and a MUST for any collectors of fine progressive rock and psychedelia. Truly a great example of a very rare and collectable album. So hard to find as a MONO t press.
Grading is a very subjectional topic but I would be happy to grade the album as follows:
