Description

Original 1st UK pressing of Animals by Pink Floyd.

Matrix numbers/Mothers/Stampers:

Side 1: SHVL 815 A-2U / 1 / RDG

Side 2: SHVL815 B-2U / 2 / RRP

Rounded corner inner sleeve. Wide spine gatefold sleeve.

Vinyl visually grades around VG with quite a few fine non feelable hairlines and surface marks under strong light. It plays well with no skips, sticks, jumps.

Side 1 starts with a little background crackle in the quiet sections/spaces between tracks and a few light clicks/pops in places. Nothing particularly overpowering and still an enjoyable listen, but not perfect either. It improves around half way from VG to a VG+ play grade.

Side 2 plays EX with only occasional very very light background noise evident. Overall play grade given as VG+

The sleeve is EX- with a little light edge wear but no major issues.

Inner is EX too. Light storage wear but again no major issues.

Overall a reasonable playing copy. Not perfect but still an enjoyable enough listen.
