Description

An original 1st issue of Animals on the UK Harvest label. Matrix 2/3. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original heavy-card wide-spine cover. Also included is the original heavy-card lyric inner. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks per side. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of slight deviations. A superb rendition for the most part with little to find fault with. Interference is both minor and infrequent. Expect a few crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. In the first short track [Pigs (part 1)] there's a few light ticks just audible. In 'Dogs' we could make out a couple of clicks in the intro as it gets going. But for these relatively minor issues the remainder of the LP plays back to a high standard.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and is not exhibiting too much of that often found surface wear. There's a touch of it along the top edges back and front, but otherwise it looks very nice. The interior looks great - no issues at all. There's edge wear e.g. bottom edge, but nothing epic. The spine is very nice condition, and with the text all still legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies totally flat.
Inner (Vg+) Surfaces look good. But 1 X 2 inch side edge split [internally repaired] and a smaller one inch edge split.
