Description

An original 1st issue of Animals by EMI on the Harvest label from 1977. 4U/3U. Note that the labels are flat without a groove - this is indicative of pressing at the EMI Middlesex plant. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. There's also the bespoke lyric inner sleeve. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close there are a few light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with just slight deviation in the odd spot. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Not perfectly clean, but impressively clean. This is a much better copy than what typically surfaces. No distracting background... Expect a touch of low-level static in a few of the very quietest moments...e.g. the opening moments of the 1st two tracks on side 1. A real treat hearing this PF classic playing this well.

Cover (Vg+) Very well preserved with clean surfaces and no signs of creasing or light fade. The interior looks great with only slight signs of handling. There's a bit of edge wear in places - but nothing epic. The spine is in about average condition. Bit of wear at the top and bottom of the spine [not bad though]. All text on the spine is all still fully legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Absolutely spot on. Precious little signs of wear. No splits.
