Description

An original 1st issue of Animals on the UK Harvest label from 1977. Matrix 2U/3U. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included is the original lyric inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great shape and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could make out a few light marks per side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with two slight deviations. Intros and are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. As is the norm with Floyd you really need a nice clean copy to start doing it proper justice. Whilst not deathly quiet this copy is, in reality, not too far off top rank. By and large a very nice player with good clean audio. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All I could detect was a touch of light static in a couple of isolated moments on side 1. The only deviation is one tick in Dogs on S1 and then two ticks during 'Pigs On The Wing S2'... Other than that...sit back and enjoy Floyd at the height of their powers....
Cover (Vg+) Difficult to find it top condition, but this example fairs reasonably well. A relatively clean front with a touch of light handling along the top edge. Ditto the rear - with just a touch visible top and bottom. The interior looks very nice with only light handling. Edge wear is mostly light, but there's a bit more on the spine. The text on the spine is still all legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Very nice condition with no splits.
