Description

An original 1st press of Animals on the UK Harvest label. Matrix 2/2. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original wide-spine gatefold cover. Also included is the original thick-card lyric inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In very nice condition and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or obvious. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback on side 1 and then VERYGOOD+ on side 2 [with one deviation] . Side 1 plays very nice and clean - with not all that much to complain at. Side 2 has perhaps seen a bit more use and I'm detecting some static here and there. Mostly minor, but there is one passage toward the end of side 2 where it's a bit crackly. But overall a very solid 1st press that is more than enjoyable at a reasonable price.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has been looked after down the years. A relatively clean front with just a touch of handling toward the top. The interior looks smart with only lightest signs of handling. Edge wear is relatively light and the openings are still sharpish. The spine is in great condition with only a couple of touches of slight wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) No splits. Very nice.
