Description

Animals original 1st Issue from 1977 on the UK Harvest label. Matrix A-2U/B-3U. Stampers 1-LD/2-HH. The heavy duty record comes housed in the original, 7701, Garrod & Lofthouse wide-spine thick card gatefold cover. Also included is the original inner sleeve with 9 inch slot and rounded corners. 100% complete & 100% original.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) Judging by the labels this LP has seen minimal use. It really is in stunning condition and looks shiny like new. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of ultra light marks - nothing troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent. The audio is sublime....full range, rich, and vibrant. The only audible interference is a bit of light static occasionally audible during side 2 - but it really is very low-level and minor. Playback throughout the entire record really is excellent and a clear testament to how good these early copies are.
Cover (Ex) Again, this cover is very well preserved. There's a touch of light edgewear and a few light creases, but in all other respets it is in fantastic condition. The spine which is so often faded, or heavily worn, is well above average. Overall the cover maintains excellent rigidity and the colours on the front and back are still lush and vibrant. A great example of a cover which often succumbs to significant wear.
Inner (Ex) A couple of light creases, but in otherwise excellent condition. No splits.
