Description

Animals original 1st Issue from 1977 on the UK Harvest label. Matrix A-3U/B-4U. Stampers 5-RGP/2-RHD. The heavy duty record comes housed in the original, 7701, Garrod & Lofthouse wide-spine thick card gatefold cover. Also included is the original inner sleeve with 9 inch slot and rounded corners. 100% complete & 100% original.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) Judging by the labels this LP has seen minimal use. It really is in stunning condition and looks shiny like new. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of ultra light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent. The audio is sublime....full range, rich, and vibrant. We only detected some ultra light static in a couple of isolated moments - it really is that good. Playback throughout the entire record is absolutely excellent and a clear testament to how good these early copies are. Make sure you insist on a seriously well preserved copy like this one - nothing else will come close.
Cover (Ex-) Again, this cover is well preserved. There's a touch of light handling wear and edge wear, but in all other respects it is in fantastic condition. The spine which is so often faded, or heavily worn, is well above average. Overall the cover maintains excellent rigidity. A great example of a cover which often succumbs to significant wear.
Inner (Ex+) No splits. No faults at all...superb. The Lp will come housed in an Exstatic inner sleeve.
