Pink Floyd. Animals. Vinyl LP. 1977. Ist Issue A5B7.. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.
For sale I have this classic Pink Floyd LP from 1977. This first edition A5B7 copy also features HTM etched in the deadwax of side A, indicating the mastering engineer is the legendary Harry Moss.
I am not a professional record dealer but I do my best to grade using the Goldmine Standard as used on Discogs. This system does not feature an 'Excellent ' grade.
The gatefold sleeve and printed lyric inner grade as VG PLUS. I have shown the corner and spine damage in the pictures as well as some ringwear on the inside of the gatefold. There are no splits or tears.
Overall the record plays VG, with side A being a little closer to VG+. There is low level crackle surface noise throughout and this is a bit more noticeable on Side B. However, I would say it is less noticeable in louder passages and does not overpower the music. An enjoyable playback experience overall. Surface scratches and scuffs are very light but I've shown the worst-looking one in a picture. No jumps. No sticking.
