PINK FLOYD - 'ATOM HEART MOTHER'
UK QUADROPHONIC PRESSING LP
This barely played UK QUADROPHONIC pressing of their 1970 LP dates from 1978 & is on the green & yellow Harvest label: Q4SHVL 781
Both labels bear the 'SQ Quadrophonic System' logo & 'EMI Records Ltd..' rim texts.
The disc is housed in an unlaminated gatefold cover with 'Quadrophonic' printed in the upper left corner inside the gatefold.
Complete with both original EMI printed inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: QHVL 781 A-2 & QHVL 781 B-3
Stamper numbers: 1/T & 1/GM
Disc weight: 113g

A perfect pair with no spindle trails to either centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both playing surfaces are 'as new' in strong daylight with no marks or wear visible whatsoever. Close examination directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a sparkling rainbow gloss and a handful of barely visible wispy paper hairlines only. No need to upgrade this copy.
Play: NEAR MINT
This top-sounding copy has barely, if ever been played. Everything sounded 'as new' during my careful play check which found no evidence of any audible wear or faults.
Cover
EXCELLENT +
An extremely clean & unworn example with just the faintest hint of storagewear to the upper part of each panel. However, all the corners and opening edges are completely unworn and undamaged. The inside is undamaged and all seams and the spine are unstressed, unworn & undamaged.
Inner-sleeves
EXCELLENT +
Clean & unworn with just a hint of toning towards the edges & the inevitable light disc impression but no splits, tears or writing.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on an EMT 950 transcription turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
