The Dark Side of the Moon is the eighth studio album by the English progressive band Pink Floyd, released on 1 March 1973.  The themes on The Dark Side of the Moon include conflict, greed, the passage of time, and mental illness, the latter partly inspired by Barrett's deteriorating mental state.   The Dark Side of the Moon was an immediate success; it topped the Billboard Top LP chart for one week and remained in the charts for 741 weeks from 1973 to 1988. With an estimated 50 million copies sold, it is Pink Floyd's most commercially successful album and one of the best selling albums world wide.  The Dark Side of the Moon is one of Pink Floyd's most popular albums among fans and critics, and is frequently ranked as one of the greatest albums of all time.

~ Buying "Vintage" ~ means that the vinyl has been pre-loved and pre-played ~ Rarely in perfect condition…As with any Vintage Vinyl Not Marked as MINT - you may hear faint background noise/ pops/clicks etc.

Vinyl/Jacket grading is based on the Goldmine standard: SS - Still Sealed – For the collector that requires perfection. M - Mint - a near perfect/un-played record. NM - Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new. EX+- close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect play. EX- A used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear. VG+- There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few scuffs - could include light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, still plays great. VG- significant wear and marks - would be noticeable - may have surface noise -still plays very well with no disruption. Good- Would only sell if the Record/Cover were Rare ~ Highly Desirable and/or Limited/Special Edition vinyl/jacket cover
