DESCRIPTION: Pink Floyd- Dark Side Of The Moon. Very early UK press with A3/B2 matrix and "The Gramophone Co"  label text..  This comes in the nicest blue tinged stickered gatefold  sleeve I have ever seen. The colour is superb and actually almost most has a greenish tinge to it. Some of these were not that obviously blue tinged, this looks fantastic- my photos really do not do it justice.  You will understand what the fuss was about this sleeve when you see this- its the real deal. The photos are too dark but were the best i could manage with the lack of light we have in North East England. This comes complete with 2 original posters and stickers and the correct black poly lined inner. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. More top condition Floyd coming up this week. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Harvest SHVL 804 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1973 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/EX. Vinyl is very clean with a nice sheen and some light hairlines that prevent visual EX grade. . Played in its entirety today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent. One of the best sounding copies I have had of this- and i have heard a lot.  It sounds really clear, clean , vibrant and loud.  Has a few ticks (as always) in the piano only part of the intro to "The Great Gig In The Sky". Obviously blue tinged cover is in great shape..  It is really  firm and square and has less than light edge wear (couple of strips of light near corners),  light corner wear and minimal creasing (confined to one corner). Spine retains great shape and has negligible wear. Inside of gate fold is really clean. Little sign poster and stickers have ever left the sleeve. The "Pyramid" poster has light foxing to the white rear and one of the stickers has foxing to front also. Black inner is also EX with light wear and no splits. Nice clean labels- check out the photos.  No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Really nice clean complete early 1970s UK copy with one of the best looking sleeves you will see. . I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
