DESCRIPTION: Pink Floyd- Dark Side Of The Moon. Very early 1970s (?1973) UK press with A4/B3 matrix, gate fold sleeve with pleated edge, original white inner and "Pink Floyd" poster. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Harvest SHVL 804 :YEAR OF RELEASE: 1973, COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/EX+. Vinyl is really clean with a very nice sheen. Played passages of this this morning on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent. Plays clear , clean and loud. It has a trace of background sound in the intro to "Speak To Me" and Gatefold cover is in great shape, one of the best early ones I have seen. It is firm and square and has less than negligible edge wear, minimal corner wear and negligible creasing. Really clean inside of gate fold. Poster is EX or better , unused with minimal wear only. Original white inner is clean with good shape and no splits. Clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Nice sounding and great looking early 1970s UK pressing . PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER FLOYD/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
