Description

A 2nd press of DSOTM on the UK Harvest label from April 1973. Matrix A3/B2. Stampers 3-ROD/3-RGG. Please note labels are consistent with 2nd press - Gramophone still mentioned in the perimeter text. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover with Hype sticker on the front. Also included is the original patent black inner sleeve. Sorry no stickers or poster.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In great condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of very light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. With Floyd you gotta get yourself a decent copy otherwise interference is just going to impinge on the listening experience. I can guarantee you a very nice clean playback on this one as it is pretty low-mileage. Interference is minimal. All we detected was a touch of light static creeping in the outro to side 1. Other than that it plays very nice and clean. You can crank it and it sounds good...
Cover (Vg+) In very nice shape and has been cared for down the years. Back and front are only exhibiting light handling wear as is common on these black covers. No nasty creases or ageing evident. Nice condition in the interior apart from that sticker removal mark top-left. Edge wear is light and the spine is fully intact too. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) No issues. No splits.
