Pink Floyd : "Dark Side Of The Moon" LP Harvest SMAS-11163 (1973) Stereo
"Original" 1973 Canadian pressing with gatefold jacket.
Note: The iconic "Dark Side Of The Moon" LP was first released in 1973. It was pressed more than once during that first year in several countries, Canada included. This LP that I have listed was pressed that first year in Canada but I am uncertain which of the 1973 Canadian pressings yielded this one. Hence, I am placing my citing of original in quotations.
This is the complete package. Includes gatefold jacket, the two original 20x30 inch posters (in near mint condition) and the two original 4x6 inch stickers (both unpeeled).
I got this piece in an estate sale together with several other LP's.
(Future listings of mine will feature other pieces from this special find.)
The wax was inside its original jacket, housed in its original generic paper sleeve, with both wax and generic sleeve appearing in mint condition.
Inside the jacket were the two posters and the two stickers, each showing no signs of handling.
Following my examination, I concluded that this wax has likely never been played.
The wax looks nearly perfect, flawed only by superficial paper scuffs (characteristic of the era). Not even evidence of fingerprints or a spindle mark.
Matrix numbers etched in the dead wax read:

Side 2: SMAS-2-11163 F-54 MASTERED BY CAPITOL Wally
Vinyl: Like New
The wax looks "like new", appears unplayed.
Labels are essentially flawless, look like new. No spindle marks.

Gatefold jacket front, back and inside color photos and text are rich and sharp. High gloss remains.
Modest rub wear present front and back.
Seams and spine are solid, with only traces of rub wear. No splits.
Spine print is crystal clear.
