Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab • Original Master Recording • MFSL 1-017 • Japanese Pressing
A particularly fine, collector-grade example of Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side Of The Moon on Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, from the highly regarded Original Master Recording series.
Japanese pressed on MFSL’s high-definition vinyl and half-speed mastered by Stan Ricker, this copy retains an unusually comprehensive selection of original period MFSL material.
The matrices have been confirmed by direct inspection:

CONDITION
VINYL: NEAR MINT (NM)
Superb, deep-gloss vinyl which presents exceptionally cleanly.
Under very strong, intensely directed light, a few extremely faint superficial traces consistent with removal from and replacement into the inner sleeve can just be detected. These are very difficult to locate under normal viewing conditions and are mentioned purely for complete accuracy and transparency.
The record has also been play-graded and performs to Near Mint standard.

The record has been ultrasonically cleaned in a Degritter prior to play-grading.
GATEFOLD SLEEVE: NEAR MINT (NM)
A superbly preserved example of the distinctive black MFSL gatefold sleeve.
The predominantly black surfaces of this release are particularly unforgiving of handling and storage wear, making the Near Mint condition of this example especially noteworthy.
The front, rear and gatefold interior all present extremely well. Please refer closely to the photographs, which show the actual sleeve offered for sale.

Original yellow Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Certificate of Limited Warranty, complete with the customer/defect form on the reverse. Unused and uncompleted, in Excellent condition, with light age/storage creasing as visible in the photographs.
