LISTEN BEFORE BIDDING
Listen to the whole record before bidding (audio is not visible or playable on mobile apps).  If you are intending to make a bid please play and listen to the audio of the record to judge for yourself.

This is the rare Quadraphonic release of The Dark Side Of The Moon which sounds slightly different in places to the regular release.  This version wasn't released with any posters or stickers.  I have graded the vinyl EX overall even though the light marks on the vinyl seem to to only be from the polylined inner sleeve.  The vinyl itself plays back superbly with hardly any surface noise even in the quiet parts.

Pink Floyd – The Dark Side Of The Moon LP notes:
UK release on Harvest records (Q4SHVL 804) from 1973
Quadraphonic release (Quadraphonic SQ System)
Gatefold cover
Original 'Quadraphonic Sound' polylined inner sleeve
The labels are in excellent condition with signs of spindle marks
Playback is excellent with virtually no surface noise except some light crackle in places

NOTE: Not sure if the labels are a mispress as side one has the quadraphonic (Q4SHVL 804) number and side two has the regular (SHVL 804) number?

Album cover grading (EX overall):
Front and back covers are still in excellent condition, some light creasing, scuffing
No writing on cover or labels
Light scuffing on edges of cover
Light scuffing to spine

Vinyl grading (EX overall):
Side 1: EX (a few light sleeve removal marks)
Side 2: EX+ (a few light sleeve removal marks)

Matrix numbers (and runout groove markings):
Side 1: QHVL 804 A-2          stampers: 1       GR
Side 2: QHVL 804 B 1          stampers: 2       GO

Vinyl notes:
Both sides have been played on a Rega RP1 turntable with an Ortofon OM5E cartridge (tracking weight: 1.5g - 2.0g) and listened to on a pair of high end Sennheiser headphones.

A-side:
Virtually no surface noise, excellent playback

B-side:
Virtually no surface noise, excellent playback

The records are sent in new good quality record mailers with 2 stiffeners.  The vinyl is always removed from the covers to avoid seam splits in transit.

I tend to be over critical of a records condition as it is not my intention to misrepresent what I am selling.  I want the buyer to feel what they have bought is as described although not everyones opinion of its condition will be the same as mine.  If you have any doubts or questions about this record, please ask me and I will try to be as helpful as I can.

Please read all the descriptions and P&P charges before bidding.
