First, let's begin with a history lesson (for those that may not know, and a reminder for those that do).

Back in the 70's the big hi-fi manufacturers began to push Quadraphonic surround sound. It needed two extra channels of amplification and two extra speakers, (or a brand new four channel amp). The extra two channels of information were then encoded on to the stereo tracks of a number of vinyl albums for decoding through the requisite box and fed to the four inputs of your amp or amps. Unfortunately there was more than one system around, and consequently Quadraphonic sound died an early death.

Now back to this album. This ultra rare copy of "Dark Side" is encoded in the SQ format. Now i would think that an encoder would be fairly difficult to come by, but then that's not why you are reading this. This is the ultimate collectors item. It contains two posters and two stickers. The album is in pristine condition as is the gatefold sleeve.
