Pink Floyd Dark Side Of The Moon UK Vinyl 1973 2nd issue A3/B2 posters, stickers

ref - https://www.discogs.com/release/2655031-Pink-Floyd-The-Dark-Side-Of-The-Moon

Second Issue.

These copies were produced for a short time only, between first pressing and first repress, featuring earliest use of the new black Harvest "blue outline prism" label design. These early transitional pressings, still have on labels the rim text starting as "The Gramophone Co. Ltd", and have been found with vinyl matrix A2/B2 or A3/B2 or A3/B3.

Gatefold cover of these copies come with two shade of color: very dark blue or black. Many copies have been released with a sticker on front, although some do not have it.

Original set includes two A2-sized posters and 2 stickers.Stickers have two different types of text on the back:- "FasPrint Permanent" & "Crack Back Patented".- "Permanent".

This Copy:

The gatefold sleeve has a nice blue/black tinge - see photos - there is a little creasing and rubbing around edges, totally intact though no rips; inside the gatefold is very good - please view all the photos.

The 2 posters and 2 stickers are present, very nice condition, rare to have them at all .... stickers a little creased and the posters have obviously been hung at some point, there are 'tac' marks - see photos, very good though still just a bit of wear and tear

Labels show some marking right on centre hole from past use, very nice condition  - The labels tick the boxes as per the above ref for release.  -  "The Gramophone Co. Ltd" on upper rim text - World Copyrights below prism - Made in Gt. Britain above lower rim text (and not repeated at end of that text as a 3rd press would have) - so definitely the 2nd issue that followed the A2/B2 solid prism 1st...

The vinyl on both sides shows only a little wear and tear, odd light scuff, through past use. Looks nice, shiny and excellent!

It plays through really well. I heard some light clicks / a fair bit of crackle right at the start each side, and light crackle in some quiet spots - , the powerful bits though sounded fantastic! Even Us and Them, notorious for background noise, sounded fab!

All in all a really good COMPLETE set and a really great,  pleasant to listen to classic copy...

Please view all the photos...

More vinyl listed please take a look; happy to combine orders for UK buyers and GSP for overseas.#
