Description
An incredible opportunity to own a complete, stunning mid-1970s UK pressing of Pink Floyd’s masterpiece, The Dark Side of the Moon.
This copy features the highly coveted A5 / B5 matrix variant. Chronologically classified as the 5th pressing (and often grouped by collectors as a late 3rd pressing variation depending on label rim text), this specific run is universally celebrated on the Steve Hoffman audiophile forums as the absolute "sweet spot" for UK analog vinyl. Cut by Abbey Road engineers, the A5/B5 mastering profile reigns in the muddy low-end of earlier plates, delivering jaw-dropping high-end clarity, wide instrument separation, and zero inner-groove distortion.
This is a true collector's package, 100% complete with all original internal inserts preserved in beautiful condition.
Matrix / Runout Identifiers

Condition Report
💿 The Vinyl: EXCELLENT (EX)
The vinyl retains a brilliant, high-gloss sheen. Visually it is incredibly clean. It plays beautifully from start to finish with a massive, deep analog soundstage. The legendary quiet crossfades (such as the heartbeat intro of "Speak to Me") play wonderfully.
The Gatefold Sleeve: VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+)
The original iconic dark-blue/black gatefold sleeve is in great, sturdy condition. There is no round hype sticker on the front cover. The jacket shows light, honest shelf wear to the edges and surfaces as expected for a 50-year-old artifact, but the spine is completely intact and legible, the interior is clean, and the structure is completely solid. No seam splits, no tears. There is some faded writing on the back of the cover. See photograph.
Shipping & Packaging
The record will be removed from the gatefold jacket before shipping to prevent seam splits during transit.
Shipped securely in a professional, heavy-duty vinyl mailer with cardboard stiffeners.
