Pink Floyd - Dark Side of The Moon
Highly-desired 'Quadraphonic' Pressing
Cover: VG
Vinyl: VG+ (Visually near Excellent)
Notes: Lovely glossy playing surface that looks to have been barely played; almost no marks visible at all (certainly none of concern). Some slight 'static' background noise in the quieter passages, however, I believe this could be remedied with further treatment of something like an ultrasonic cleaner to near negligible amounts. Sleeve has some storage wear around the edges, as consummate with age, and one small superficial tear to the top right of the front cover. Otherwise, quite a reasonable example. Posters & Cards are not there, and inner sleeve may not be the initial one it was released with (although 'period-correct' for EMI around that time of release). The separation and clarity of the instruments on this copy are amazing, and the sound-quality in general is far superior to the majority of other pressings in my opinion. A really great investment for your collection as this particular release only keeps being sought out by collectors who become aware of its tremendous mix compared to the more 'standard' pressings.

RECORD COLLECTOR'S GRADING SYSTEM
Mint
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair
The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor
The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Please refer to grading system provided, as this should allow you to form a good idea about the condition of the item. Please allow some room for manoeuvre as grading can sometimes be subjective - although I will always try to lean towards conservative gradings.
