Description

Dear Ebay Community,

UK FIRST PRESSING DARK SIDE OF THE MOON FOR AUCTION

20 YEAR TRUSTED EBAY BUYER AND SELLER

Up for auction from The AURUM Vault is my copy of THE PINK FLOYD:

The Dark Side of the Moon UK Harvest 1973 1st pressing LP - in top shelf condition.

MOTHER STAMPERS AND MATRIX - UNEQUIVOVALLY: please pictures under magnification.

SIDE 1: SHLV 804 A2 G/LO  with G at 1 o'clock position and LO at 6 o'clock position)

SIDE 2: SHLV 804 B2 GAR (letter are located at the 10 o'clock position w/The tip of pyramid as 12).

I have owned this specimen since about 2012ish and purchased it on EBAY at auction. It is still in my transaction history since my purchase of this ICONIC album.

  • Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
  • UK 1st Pressing A2/B2
  • SOLID Blue Triangle label LP
  • HARVEST RECORDS STEREO - SHVL 804
  • Midnight Blue-Tinged Gatefold Sleeve without adhering hype sticker; why I specifically purchased this item and certainly, indicative of 1st Press.
  • Rear Sleeve - Large inverted Triangle - Top right SHVL 804 (IE 064-05249) Stereo.
  • MATRIX STAMPER - Side 1 = SHVL 804 A-2 G/LO/Side 2 = SHVL 804 B-2 GAR
  • Complete with all original inserts - Black poly-lined inner sleeve,2 posters & 2 Stickers.
  • The sticker and posters are nice and vibrant please see pictures. The Black inner is 100% intact no splits.
  • The labels are in near excellent condition but please see pictures.
  • I recently played the entire album THERE ARE NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS, NO LOUD POPS OR PERSTENT CLICKS. MONEY has the pressed in skip that is now well known and acknowledged for these early pressings. MONEY IS IN a 7/8 time signature the recording literally misses an entire eight beat.
  • The Vinyl was just recently professionally cleaned, and I would grade it as VG+ per strict GOLDMINE grading.
MY CRITICAL INSPECTION GOLDMINES CRITERIA:
  1. GATEFOLD(VG++): with some wear to corners as seen in photographs but retains its flat dusky dark blue texture and color. Some very faint ring wear on REVERSE ONLY as seen in photos. THERE ARE NO SPLITS ANYWHERE ON THE SLEEVE OR GATEFOLD.
  2. Vinyl (VG+): Retains all its original shinny appeal with few faint wispy lines visible under incandescent light. There are two small 1-2mm scratches that are superficial and DO NOT affect recording quality.
  3. LABELS: I would say some spider webbing SIDE 1/SIDE 2 NEAR MINT with NO noticeable flaws as seen in photographs
  4. Accessories are all in NEAR MINT CONDITION as seen in photographs.
