Offered for Auction, MFSL 1-017 Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon, a High Definition Vinyl-LP Master Recording
This Album is being sold as a USED item.  It has been played once to record and a second time to enjoy, but is otherwise in NEAR MINT condition. The jacket shows edge wear and a few scuffs from storage and exhibition, and would be considered VG+ condition.  This Master Recording Vinyl LP has been well cared for; subjected to Disc-Washer cleaning before and after both playings (see Warranty "Reminder" below) on a high-end Audio-Technica turntable system with Harmon-Kardon cartridge and needle.  Based on the Warranty "Reminder" below, this Master Disc is not even broken in yet, as it has only been played twice!
On the original Warranty/Service and Survey Card (also included) it states the following: Reminder:  We do not de-horn our metal parts in order to prevent damage to high frequencies and transients.  It may be necessary to play this disc several times, with your stylus acting as a polishing tool, to eliminate random pops and ticks.  Brush carefully before and after each play!
Mis-alignment of arm and cartridge and/or improper tracking force causes most skipping.  This also contributes to increased levels of surface noise, distortion and excessive record and stylus wear.
