Description
First pressing of the Pink Floyd classic 'Dark Side of the Moon' with the solid blue triangle label.
The vinyl is in very good condition with a few pops & crackles but no skips or jumps.
The sleeve is worn around the edges as you'd expect for a record of it's age.
The two original posters an an original sticker are in excellent condition.
Please see pictures detailing condition & wear.
A great opportunity to own real piece of music history.
I have taken the record to a colleague's studio for closer examination. We have played it through a professional studio system & noted four light pops, there are no skips or jumps. On closer examination in good daylight, we note there is dirt where these pops appear. I've been advised that professionally cleaning the record would likely remove these pops leaving it in near mint playing condition. I don't own any professional record cleaning equipment & I believe the collectors interested in this item would prefer to clean or have it cleaned themselves. The fourth photograph above shows light marking on the label, again this would probably be easily removed with professional cleaning. The record sounds fantastic & this is a very reluctant sale due to hard times.
