Most music lovers will be aware of this all time classic lp which has broken so many world records in sales, charts , popularity statistics etc etc ( a personal favourite of mine ) This masterpiece was released in March 1973 but the band had played several numbers on the circuit  in 1972  under the title   ' Eclipse - A piece for assorted Lunatics ' A fantastic creation of Genius that deals with the burdons of everyday life that drive people to insanity !

There are many releases of this album in just about every country but this is the holy-grail original UK 1st Pressing with the quickly withdrawn solid blue triangle label variant ( which was quickly re-worked to the transparant varaint - due to the difficulty in reading the track listings )

COVER

This is an original matt midnight blue Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold cover, right-hand side opening . This cover has survived very well by most standards , it's not the most durable type of cover and most are extremely worn with storage / handling use / ring wear etc but this is clean and bright both inside and out.There are some very light storage wear marks but these are very minor and it looks better 'in the flesh' than on the images ! there are no tears, stains or writing present , overall a very nice example and well above the average condition offered  (see-pics)  EXCELLENT MINUS CONDITION !

Both sides still retain a deep rich glossy shine with no stains , scratches or scuffs present, upon closer inspection under bright lighting and in direct sunlight ! only a couple of  super light wispy fine tiny lines are visable , these are very very fine and difficult to see ! this realy does look superb and has been handled with great care , both sides Visualy are in EXCELLENT PLUS  CONDITION Both sides play through with no pops, clicks or repeats but there is some crackle / static noise present , which would probably be reduced if cleaned ( see-pics)  Audibly VERY GOOD PLUS  CONDITION (which can be improved with cleaning )

GRADING:

ITEMS ARE  GRADED USING THE UK RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM.ALL ITEMS ARE PLAY GRADED AT VOLUME AND ARE VISUALY INSPECTED BOTH IN DAYLIGHT AND UNDER STRONG LIGHTING WITH DETAILED DESCRIPTION.

PACKING:

DISCS ARE ALWAYS REMOVED FROM THEIR COVERS AND HOUSED IN PROTECTIVE PLASTIC SLEEVES.THEY ARE THEN PLACED BETWEEN RIGID CARD STIFFERNERS AND THEN CAREFULLY PACKED IN STRONG PROFESSIONAL CUSTOM MADE BOXES. THUS GIVING MAXIMUM PROTECTION, SO YOU RECIEVE THE ITEM IN THE SAME CONDITION AS IT LEFT US.
