Original 1st pressing

1973

Solid Blue Triangle.

Extremely rare First Pressing of Dark Side of the Moon

Catalogue number SHVL 804

MATRIX NUMBERS SHVL 804 A-2

                                      SHVL 804 B-2

This is the original form of the release

Solid light blue prism LP

Picture labels with silver lettering

Later presses have an empty prism

Gatefold sleeve

Original inner bag

Has original sticker but that's been took of the cover and stuck on inner bag

Two posters and two stickers

The LP jumps on money but if you look at point 10 of the screenshot provided it is a manufacturing defect (which also proves it is the very first pressing)

Some early pressings have a manufacturing defect on the track money where the track skips

This only appears to affect some records made with A2/B2 stampers

Side 1 has some light marks which lightly crackle and some clicks which you can mainly hear on the track breath as it's a very quiet track

Not heard so much in the louder tracks

Side 2 has some marks which click but again are more prominent on quieter tracks

And of course jumps on money

Please do not bid if you are expecting a mint LP

This LP is 50 years old over is in very good condition for age

Please watch out for more original first pressing rock LP's that I will be listing in the coming weeks
