Description
Pink Floyd LP Vinyl - Animals.
First UK Pressing - Harvest - SHVL 815, 0C 064-98 434.
Outer sleeve - (VG) - Outer sleeve is nice and clean with some light creasing, light rubbing along the sides, light ringwear, light scuffing in places, slight rubbing to the front, rubbing along the sides.
Inner Sleeve - (VG - VG+) - Original inner sleeve and is relatively nice and clean with some light creasing, rubbing along the sides.
Vinyl - (G+ - VG (-) - VG - VG+) - Visually graded under a bright light bulb. When I mention 'scratches' or 'hairlines' or 'scuffs' these are light and cannot be felt deeply by the finger unless otherwise stated.
Side 1 - (G+ - VG (-) - VG) - Vinyl looks ok but has been well played. Both sides have signs of many, many light looking surface scratches. Vinyl should still play relatively well with the right stylus / set of decks with the chance of some light distortion / surface noise in places. In my humble opinion could even play up to the standard of a VG.
Side 2 - (VG - VG+) - Vinyl is cleaner than side 1. Vinyl looks mostly nice and clean with signs of several - many light looking surface scratches / hairlines. I feel that with eh right stylus / set of decks should easily play to VG and most probably to a VG+ standard.
The item could also be bought solely for the cover and the inners.
Record Collectors Grading system
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-fillerTerms of Business: If you are unhappy with your item please let me know and we will resolve it.
