Description

An original 1st press of MORE on the UK Columbia label. Matrix 1G/1G. Also please note the labels are consistent with 2nd press and are only showing one EMI Box - which dates it to late 1969. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original 1st issue Garrod & Lofthouse cover with pinched spine. Please note genuine 1st issue sleeves must be tinted green, have the figures facing west, and exhibit flipbacks. Also included is the late 60's original EMI sepia toned advertising inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In great condition and has seen only relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are practically silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. By and large playback is of a high standard with barely any interference. All we could detect were a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments, one pop, a few light ticks in the second to last passage on side 2. A beautiful rendition by any standard.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. The front is lovely and shiny with only a couple of thumbnail creases. The rear is often let down by ageing, but this copy has pretty much avoided it..just lightest handing. Edge wear is light and the spine is mostly intact - there's just one knock on right in the middle [nothing major]. All flipbacks are intact and the overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
