Rare original Mono 1967 UK Pressing of this classic Pink Floyd album.......Piper At The Gates Of Dawn......on Blue/Black Columbia SX 6157 Labels with XAX 3419-2 and XAX 3420-1 Matrices , 1/1 Mothers and H/T Stampers and 6709 ( September 1967 ) Printed and Made by Ernest J Day & Co Ltd in England Front Laminated Flipback cover.......
The original vinyl has numerous hairlines/scuffs and some more obvious marks particularly on side 1......... background noise on run ins , between tracks and throughout in quiet bits ......I have taken a pic to show the marks on side 1 , despite which it plays nicely all the way through on my sensitive Pioneer deck ( not an absolute guarantee it will do so on yours ) with no skips , sticks or jumps but does have popping from the marks......side 2 is less marked ......terrific powerful sound from this high quality 1967 UK pressing.... side 1 Fair to Good and side 2 Good to Good +
The rare 6709 ( September 1967 ) Printed and Made by Ernest J Day & Co Ltd in England Front Laminated Flipback cover is in lovely crisp and clean condition with some wear/scuffing to corners and opening .....only a few small half moons to front laminate near opening ......edges and flipbacks superb...... spine proud and fully legible ......one mark down central area of rear ....see pics....... VG
